Measuring Ring Size at Home

Have you ever found yourself in a store or perusing online, captivated by a stunning array of rings, yet unsure of which size to choose? It's a common dilemma—one that becomes particularly daunting when you aren’t able to try the piece on. Not to worry, this blog will guide you through the process of determining your ring size, ensuring that each ring you select fits flawlessly, every single time!

To find your size, all you will need is some string, a ruler, a marker, and a ring size chart!

Step 1: Get a String

First things first, find yourself a piece of string. It's going to be your trusty makeshift ring.

Step 2: Wrap The String Around Your Finger

Gently loop the string around your finger, making sure it's snug and sitting right where you would wear a ring.

Step 3: Mark Where The End of The String Meets

Now, take note of where the string ends. You can use a marker to show the spot, or just remember where your grip stops. This mark will be your guide.

Step 4: Measure The String

Use a ruler or tape measurer to measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you made in the previous step. (We suggest measuring in millimeters! If you measure in inches or centimeters, you can use google to convert the measurement into millimeters)

Step 5: Look for Your Ring Size

Now that you have the measurement, look up a “ring size chart” online or refer to the guide below and from there, find the measurement you got and look at the corresponding size.

And that’s all there is to it! Discovering your ring size has never been easier, right from the comfort of your own home, at any time that suits you. If this handy trick doesn't quite do the trick for you, Komara Jewelers can help! Stop by and see us and our expert staff will be more than happy to assist you in determining your ring size with precision. Whether you choose to measure at home or visit the jewelers, rest assured that you'll have the perfect-sized ring for your finger, ensuring both style and comfort.
